What Is WOPI?
WOPI is a complex protocol which allows you to embed Word, Excel and PowerPoint inside your core application. The URL in the address bar of the web browser is your and Microsoft supply the web client for you. The WOPI protocol is complex and difficult to implement for beginners. WOPI improves your SaaS solution by allowing users to edit documents in place inside your application. Your user no longer have to download files to desktop, edit them and then reupload them (and fix any conflicts that then arise!). WOPI takes care of all of this and includes out-of-the-box co-authoring capabilities.

These means that your users can seamlessly access features of your SaaS platform from directly inside the familiar environment of Microsoft Office.

How Our Service Works
Most of our clients come to us because they have a need for a complex WOPI / Add-In implementation that they cannot resource (either because of time or skills) from within their existing teams.

We use your source control systems, your build and deployment systems, your documentation systems and we work closely with your existing team to make sure that the Add-In correctly integrates into your existing eco-system.
Naturally, all of the code and intellectual property is yours! Most of our clients take over some or all of the maintenance of the software once it is complete, perhaps returning to us when they don't have capacity to add new features themselves.
