Most companies do not have one system. They have a dozen, bought at different times from different suppliers, each good at its own job and none of them able to talk to the others. The result is familiar: the same customer typed into three places, reports that take a week to assemble by hand, and information everybody knows exists but nobody can get at.

We build the software that connects them. Not a replacement for what you already run — the plumbing that goes behind it, so data moves between your systems on its own.

What we build

The work usually takes one of a few shapes:

Interfaces between applications, so two systems that were never designed to share data can exchange it reliably.
Data moving in real time rather than overnight, so what people see on screen is what is actually true now.
One place to look, pulling together records that currently live in several systems and disagree with each other.
Adaptors for older software that has no modern interface, and often no documentation either.
Apps and portals that give your staff and your customers access to information currently locked inside a back-office system.

How we build it

Most of the integrations we build now run on cloud platforms, and have done since 2010. The cloud handles the parts that are tedious to run yourself: guaranteed delivery between systems sitting behind different firewalls, and the ability to scale up for a busy period and back down again afterwards without paying for capacity you are not using.

Where systems need to talk over the internet, we use web services. They are well understood, they work across platforms — a Microsoft system and a Java one integrate perfectly well — and almost anything built in the last twenty years can speak them. We build to the OWASP Secure by Design principles. Our integration work routes millions of pounds of revenue securely over the internet.

Systems we have connected

ERP, CRM, CPQ and PIM systems, warehousing, inventory and ordering systems, document stores, and a fair number of bespoke systems with no name at all. The sectors that come up most often are engineering, pensions, legal, utilities, energy, healthcare, retail and marketing.
